Special inks as an alternative to metallic inks

Series 50-XXXXXX-SG

50-XXXXXX-SG – a special series of inks that replaces metallic inks Some nuances of using metallic inks. It is known that the use of metallic inks in printing has its own difficulties.

Metallic inks clog and damage anilox rolls much more than conventional inks, because contain copper and aluminum oxides in their composition.

Metallic inks are tricky when printing. They foam, settle, with long runs, the shine gradually deteriorates.

Metalized inks do not lay well to regular inks

Shelf life is usually 2-3 months and reuse of returnable ink is difficult.

Metalized inks difficult to wash.

There is an alternative to metallic – 50-XXXXXX-SG – a special series of water-based paints containing hydromicas. It gives a metallic offect and gloss, but it does not have all the above disadvantages of conventional metallized paints. The 50-XXXXXX-SG series is stable in printing, does not foaming, is easily washed off the roller and plate, does not settle, does not clog anilox rolls. It is easy enough to reuse as a return paint.
